Just wow! From the second we walked in we were greeted and acknowledged by a very friendly waitress. The service was superb. The food came out quick. It tasted pretty good. I ordered the taco omelate. It had a home cooked taste to it. Would definitely recommend this place for the service, food and cost. Absolutely perfect.

One of my favorite places for breakfast. Very extensive menu. Lunch awesome too.

Went during quarantine so had to order from the window and pick up to go but the food was good and service nice. I got the Big Nick cheeseburger and my wife had the grilled cheese with ham...would do it again

We thiswere there morning with a group of 10. The food was great! But the staff was spectacular. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. I would absolutely go back and suggest you give it a try.

My first time I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The young lady was very nice and provided wonderful service. I been to restaurants along rte. 28 and had a cup of coffee, but will not return as the coffee was watered down (very week)! It was flavored water however here it was a big improvement. Food and prices were very reasonable! I will be going back again and again.

Cute little dinner with local appeal and good food. Options aplenty and really nice staff. The license plate collection is cool too. For a diner, this hit the spot!

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants! The food is always delicious and just the right size. Plus it’s super affordable. Our servers are alway top notch and wicked friendly. My wife likes the Irish Benedict and I like the kielbasa breakfast sandwich and sticky bun (not the sticky bun waffle which I’ve heard is quite good) They always have fun and interesting specials and the pepperoni hash was incredible (bring back the pepperoni hash!) CASH ONLY.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Service prompt and super friendly. Food under priced. I am a picky eater, I ordered semi soft eggs and non crispy bacon. I have a restaurant in my building at home (Downtown Minneapolis) that charges twice what route 28 diner does for the same meal and they did a WAY better job. Would recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

Fantastic!! Absolutely what you expect from a family diner, the chefs (I think sis and bro) just did not stop and nailed everything. Very well recommended.

This is a very local tiny Diner. Cash or local check only. My poached Eggs were perfect. The Coffee was fresh. The Sausages were also perfectly prepared. Their prices are very low compared to the restaurants nearby! The children of Owners now run the Diner and its not as warm and friendly as before, BUT the food was just as good and the service was snap. Booths for four and counter seating so wouldn't recommend it for any groups larger than that.

A nice, clean place and reasonable price for breakfast. My pancake was pretty good. And my friends who ordered an egg benedict and an omelette also liked their food.

Delicious food and even nice staff! Always a good place for breakfast at a reasonable price. Basically no downsides to this place, just make sure you're ready to wait outside as they don't have an indoor waiting area.

This is the cutest little place and I've been meaning to stop and try it for a long while. I'm glad that we finally had the opportunity. First of all the place is spotlessly clean, which is always nice. The menu has a lot of great choices and there are specials boards to look over as well. The hash browns were crispy on the outside light and fluffy inside and perfectly seasoned. Likewise the eggs and pancakes. Getting such a great meal for (just) under ten bucks is a very pleasant experience these days!

The food was good. The name may say diner, but the pace inside is anything but! Sat for 15 minutes before our order was taken. 20 minutes later waitress apologizes, our order was lost. Small place. To me not worth the wait
